Danelle Batchler

Danelle is a long-term resident of the Northern Territory, having lived there for 28 years since her return in 1998, after two earlier stays in the 80s. She has worked in various roles across cattle stations, Katherine, and Darwin, supporting remote Aboriginal staff and clients. As a mother of five amazing adult children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Danelle values family deeply. In her free time, she enjoys painting with oils and acrylics, having held three exhibitions, including one at the Darwin Oil Tunnels and another in the Katherine Prize, where she won a People’s Choice award for her painting titled "The Burn Off.“

With 25 years of management experience, Danelle is a compassionate leader dedicated to driving positive social change through transformative programs in family violence, legal services, housing, supported accommodation, disability community development, and employment initiatives. Committed to client service excellence, she aims to leverage her skills to impact vulnerable populations in the NT community.

Danelle is inspired by the compassion and passion of the directors and staff at United NT Disability Services, all of whom share her commitment to the highest standards of client support and community engagement.
