Tarun is the CEO of United NT Disability Services, where he is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. He has built a career focused on achieving positive outcomes for people in these areas.

With a background in forensic disability and behavior support, Tarun has developed strong change management and leadership skills through his work in the government sector. He firmly believes in the values of positivity, respect, honesty, integrity, compassion, trustworthiness, and accountability. Born in 1987, he initially attended university to study for a Diploma in Pharmacy.

Following this, Tarun moved to Australia to study Community Services at Adelaide University. He then relocated to Alice Springs, where he spent ten years working for both an NGO and the Northern Territory Government in roles such as case manager and supervisor within a complex forensic mental health disability unit. His experience also includes work in remote communities, including Finke, Santa Teresa, and the APY Lands.

In 2019, Tarun moved to Darwin and took on a position as a Housing Coordinator and Team Leader, overseeing SIL houses for an established NDIS service provider with a focus on mental health and complex participants. After years of working in the NDIS sector and witnessing a lack of adequate support for people with disabilities, he decided to establish his own NDIS company, United NT Disability Services, in 2020
